Ring Size Guide

Last Updated: January 07, 2026

At Beldad Jewelry, we ensure that every 18k gold piece is cast to provide a perfect and comfortable fit. Finding your correct size is essential for the longevity of your ring and the security of its setting.

1. How to Measure Your Size

For the most accurate results, our team recommends the following methods to determine your ring size at home:

  • Measure an Existing Ring: Select a ring that fits the intended finger perfectly. Measure the internal diameter of the ring in millimeters using a precise ruler.

  • Paper or String Method: Wrap a narrow strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of your finger. Mark the point where the ends meet and measure the length in millimeters to find the circumference.

  • Consider Your Knuckle: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between to ensure the ring can slide on comfortably.

2. Tips for Accuracy

  • Temperature Matters: Finger size can fluctuate slightly based on the temperature. For the most reliable measurement, measure your finger at the end of the day when it is at its largest.

  • Band Width: Wider bands tend to feel tighter than thin bands. If you are purchasing a wide-band ring from our collection, for bands 4mm or wider, we recommend choosing one size larger than your standard measurement.

  • Multiple Measurements: Measure your finger 3–4 times to ensure consistency in your results.

3. International Sizing Chart

Size Note: These measurements reflect the precise Japanese standards used for our 18k gold collection to ensure a comfortable fit and the lifelong security of your setting. If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size or contacting our team for a personalized recommendation.

4. Professional Assistance

If you are unsure of your size or are purchasing a piece as a gift, please contact our team for expert guidance. We also recommend visiting a local professional jeweler to have your finger sized using a standard metal ring sizer for the highest level of precision.
